Website Stuff

• Got some more Place pages up tonight though I am currently dancing around some of the larger pages. The Sovereign's city pages will probably be last for sure. I don't have toooo much to say about some of these other ones...for now... so they aren't that bad.
• Couple pages like Twelve Winds Over Stone Over Sea will most likely go up at the same time as the character page
• Speaking of which, a number of the character pages left are ones I have been putting off due to the characters not really having descriptions. No joke these days I usually flesh out personality, backgrounds, events, etc first and then description like dead last. I know who these characters are but idk what they look like. Just vibes I guess. Might have to just skip those sections on those characters for now lol

Art Projects

• Finished my zine piece!! Yaaaay. It turned out very nice. I probably won't be able to show it for a while, BUT its pretty much all ready to go in terms of sharing it. It's got a title. I've got the page for my website all together.
• So hopefully I should be able to focus on some other things now!
• Currently messing around with redesigning The Beacon's Great Sword/Wind Tower swords a little bit. Since I don't normally draw a lot of weapons I did just kind of use Generic Medieval European Sword shape because that's the first thing that came to mind. However, Aki himself isn't wielding strictly European swords, and it doesn't fit with the rest of The Beacon's aesthetic that much either anyway. I do like the 'blade' shape being straight because they DO have to function as wind towers, so I'm basically mostly looking at redesigning the handle shape. 🤔 Unsurprisingly, my initial internet searches have been pretty annoying as the internet at large is obsessed with European swords...and there is just a lot of overlap too with the sword shapes throughout history (for example Firangi being Indian swords but inspired by European swords), but I would at least feel better with a slightly more informed shape.
• Bought myself an A5 sketchbook to use next. It IS pretty drastically different but I'm crossing my fingers it will be the refresh my brain needs (when I get to it)
