Website Stuff

Did a couple minor updates last week, but no major ones. Work was kind of busy and I kinda just didn't have a lot of brainpower all week. I did get up the "under construction" bit for Curio #2 and added a bunch of stuff to my Art Reference link page. Its starting to fill out nicely! I need more organization than regular bookmarking can provide so this helps me a lot.

Art Projects

Worked a lot on the big art for Curio #2 over the weekend. It is still in the Ugly stage. It has a particularly ugly stage going on, LOL. But its getting there. Its not a subject I am very familiar with drawing so its been challenging. However, its not like its a very complicated piece, so I can tell that the main thing it needs is some work on the contrast. Once I move onto actually detailing I think it will help a lot as well.
One thing I was very proud of with it is that while I did use a ruler when transferring the sketch, I freehanded all of the straight lines when inking to stop it from looking too stiff. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to actually do it without one wobbly as heck line, but nope! I DID IT.
Otherwise again ^^^ like zero brain power last week so not much else going on but I'm mentally juggling a couple things.

Video Games

Trying to catch up on FF14 patch quests (since I did up to 7.3 but did ZERO side quests) and kept getting roadblocked either by the side quests needing me to get farther, or by my ilvl not being high enough 😔I don't have much gil and I haaate how you are pretty much required to buy gear to progress if you haven't been keeping up with the current raids every week. Ended up doing the Limsa World Shuffle for a while to try to figure out who had the cheapest for sale. I know this is planned to be changed but its seriously one of my most anticipated updates.
In positive news I am digging these Hildebrand quests so far. Not too many in, but. "Hardiboiled" is a really good pun. I also didn't care much for Dawntrail's actual dungeons but I thought the optional ones like Tender Valley have also been pretty fun so far.

Aaaand I had more to say here (maybe worldbuilding related) but I already forgot most of it. Maybe next time!
